PianoSculptures

Alkotás közben            Zongoraszobrok

Two rather different genres are brought closer to one another by a joint plan by Botond Polgár sculptor and Balázs Fülei: they create at the same time and in the same space, drawing from the same source of inspiration. The sculpture is being created and the piano piece is being played to the same rhytm while the audience that probably has mostly seen already finished sculptures so far, now has the opportunity to follow the process of mold-making, too. The premiere of the two artists’ extraordinary experiment was held at the Palace of Arts (MÜPA) in October, 2017 within the programme by Balázs Fülei titled My Passion: The Piano. This time the source of inspiration was Franz Liszt’s Sposalizio.
