„Dear Mme Müller,
I was very pleased indeed to have your letter of sympathy. You are right, the days when Austria was attacked without warning were also dreadful days for us. I think it is quite superfluous to write about this catastrophe – you have very concisely and eloquently put into words the main issue.”

– wrote Béla Bartók to a family friend in Basel in April of 1938. The performance titled Viva Bartók!  – a letter concert by András Bálint and Balázs Fülei compiled from Bartók's private letters and piano pieces – will be on the programme last time this season on April 14th at the Radnóti Theatre.
