Triography

A review has been published in the daily newspaper titled Népszava on the new album by the Auer Trio released before Christmas including works by Haydn, Beethoven and Mendelssohn. Here is an excerpt of the review:

„…they can play Haydn with the attitude of a performer of early music; they can play
Beethoven as humble but dedicated chamber musicians and they can play Mendelssohn as if
being soloists. They always pay attention which of them is at the forefront at proper times,
taking into account the role of their actual part in the entire process. If necessary, all three of
them are at the forefront. Eventually, by these three diverse pieces, yet stemming from a
common source, they are capable of showing us what the greatest artists could achieve in this
genre as well; and, convincing us that in the right hands these works are not at all inferior to
far more famous solo or orchestral works.”
