The concert with Attila Falvay and Balázs Fülei  will involve a period of about 40 years from the Gründerjahre, i.e. the period of the founders’ years through World War I to the restless 1920s.

During the Autumn Cultural Festival in Szeged on October 4th, beyond Bartók’s Sonata Nr.2 for violin and piano dedicated to the violinist Jelly Arányi, the audience will hear pieces by three French composers: Franck, Ravel and Debussy. Debussy’s Sonata in G minor was the composer’s last finished work; in 1917, at the world premiere in Paris, Debussy himself was sitting at the piano and had asked the wonderful  young violinist, Gaston Poulet to be his partner.
