How many things are necessary for three or four musicians who have not met before to get in tune with one another and be able to play together?

Possible answers are given by the workshop called Reconnections having been organized by the Liszt Academy and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance since 2013. This year Budapest will host the event again: on behalf of the Liszt Academy, István Varga cellist and Balázs Fülei will be working with the Israeli-Hungarian mixed chamber music groups to be formed on the spot. The closing event of the programme will be a public concert on February 20th in the Solti Hall where the audience will have the opportunity to watch the productions rehearsed during the six days of the masterclass.
