On June 26th Balázs Fülei will give a solo recital in Prague in a church with a unique atmosphere, the Kostel sv. Vavrince.

In the programme compiled from works of Central-European composers, the Piano Sonata 1.X.1905 by Leoš Janáček, inspired by rather tragical events, will also be played: on the day included in the title, the demonstration for a Czech university in Brno was beaten down by the soldiers of the Monarchy and a young carpenter,   Frantiŝek Pavlik became the victim of the fight. Janáček, being a close observer of the events and influenced by the painful memory, has dedicated this piece to Pavlik.
